MOGOFE RV Roof Sealant Tape is listed for common RV membranes and rigid outdoor surfaces. Compatibility is a starting point: surface condition, coating, contamination and preparation determine whether the adhesive can make full contact.
Use this rule: confirm the material, inspect its condition, clean and dry it, then test a small area when the surface is aged, coated or uncertain.

Surface condition checklist
- Stable: no loose coating, failed sealant, rot or delamination.
- Clean: no dirt, dust, oil, wax or cleaner residue.
- Dry: no visible or trapped moisture.
- Supported: the tape can contact the surface across its full width.
- Permitted: the RV, roof or membrane manufacturer allows this repair method.
When a small-area test is necessary
Test before completing the repair when the surface is aged, previously coated, unusually textured, repaired with an unknown sealant or made from an unidentified plastic. A test area should represent the actual prepared surface—not an untouched spot elsewhere on the roof.
What compatibility does not mean
A material name alone is not a guarantee for every finish, coating or condition. MOGOFE tape is a non-structural weather-sealing product. It does not restore rotten roof decking, repair delamination or replace a manufacturer-required mechanical fastener or specialized roof-system procedure.
