MOGOFE Yellow Titan RV Roof Sealant Tape — Waterproof Butyl Repair Tape, 50 ft
Current checkout: Purchases are completed on Amazon.com. Amazon shows the current price, eligible options, delivery estimate and return eligibility before you order.
Seal common RV roof leak paths with a repair tape that is easier to choose and install. MOGOFE Yellow Titan RV Roof Sealant Tape uses a pressure-applied butyl adhesive for non-structural sealing around roof seams, vents, skylights, windows and other common weather-exposed joints.
Choose Standard when you need the documented width and color range. Choose MAX when you specifically need the extra-thick White / 4 in × 50 ft format. Match the width to the repair, prepare a stable and completely dry surface, place the tape without stretching, and press firmly from edge to edge.
Documented product family
- Standard: 1.5, 2, 4 or 6 in × 50 ft; White or Black
- MAX: 4 in × 50 ft; White only
- Every documented roll is 50 feet long.

Choose enough width
Measure the complete damaged area or seam. Select a width that covers it and still reaches clean bonding surface on both sides. Do not size the tape from the visible crack alone: weak coating or the leak path can extend farther.
Surface preparation
Remove dirt, dust, oil, wax, moisture, loose coating and failing old sealant. Repair rotten, delaminated or structurally damaged material first. A material name alone does not guarantee adhesion to every coating or aged surface; test a small prepared area when the finish is uncertain.
Four-step installation
- Inspect the full leak path and repair unstable substrate.
- Clean the complete bonding path and let it dry fully.
- Dry-fit, cut and position the tape without stretching.
- Press across the full width and recheck every edge, corner and transition.

Use limits
This is a non-structural sealing product. Do not apply directly over wet, dirty, oily, loose or rotten material. Do not use it for pressurized plumbing, fuel-system or underwater repairs. Product-specific instructions and the RV or membrane manufacturer’s repair requirements take priority.

Development & testing notes
Seven years focused on the details that decide a repair.
Material choice, usable coverage, surface preparation and full-pressure application were refined as one system. The figures below report documented material test conditions. They are not a universal service range.
Test results describe samples under stated methods and conditions. An installed seal also depends on substrate integrity, contamination, weather, coverage and application pressure.
Choose your width
Measure the repair before the roll.
Cover the complete damaged area and leave clean bonding surface on both sides. The weak coating or leak path can extend beyond the visible crack.
- 1.5 and 2 inches suit compact trim, narrow seams and targeted edge work.
- 4 inches is a practical choice for many roof seams and vent perimeters.
- 6 inches gives broader coverage for wide transitions and patches.
- Add every planned run, overlap, corner and trim allowance; divide by 50 feet and round up.
Tape cannot restore rotten or structurally damaged material. Repair the substrate first.
Surface compatibility
Check the surface type and its condition.
Condition, coating and preparation determine whether the adhesive can make full contact.
EPDM & TPO
Confirm the membrane is intact, clean and dry. Follow the roof maker’s repair guidance for aged or coated membranes.
Metal, fiberglass & glass
Remove oxidation, oil, wax and loose sealant. Stable full-surface contact matters across the complete repair.
Rubber, wood & plastic
Porous, weathered or low-energy plastics vary. Test a small prepared area before completing installation.
Compatibility is not a guarantee for every coating, finish or aged substrate.
Install with intent
Clean. Plan. Place. Press.

Remove dirt, oil, wax, moisture and loose old sealant. Let the area dry completely.
- 03Dry-fit and cut
Plan the tape run before removing the release liner. Avoid unnecessary stretching.
- 04Press edge to edge
Apply steady pressure across the full width, especially at corners and changes in level.
