Start with the repair

Check three things before you buy.

Confirm the repair area, surface condition and tape width before ordering.

1

Identify the leak point

Roof seam, vent, skylight, window edge or another non-structural joint that needs a weather seal.

2

Confirm the surface

Check the membrane or substrate. Remove dirt, oil, moisture, oxidation and loose coating.

3

Choose full coverage

Cover the full repair area and leave a clean bonding margin on both sides of the visible crack.

Width guide

Choose a width that covers the full repair area.

Measure the full seam or damaged zone and leave clean surface for the tape to bond on both sides. Add all tape runs, corners, overlaps and trimming; every roll contains 50 feet.

  • 1.5 inCompact trim and narrow seams
  • 2 inTargeted seams and edge work
  • Default width 4 inRoof seams, vents and wider joints
  • 6 inBroad transitions and wider patches

Tape seals a stable substrate; it does not restore rotten or structurally damaged roof material.

Development & testing notes

Seven years focused on one job.

Yellow Titan was refined around the details that decide a field repair: material choice, useful coverage, surface preparation, full-pressure application and exposure after installation.

212°F ± 3.6°F2-hour heat conditionNo flow or surface cracking recorded
−40°F72-hour cold conditionNo surface cracking recorded
450%ElongationTest method: ASTM D412-16

These are documented material test conditions, not a promise that every installed repair will perform identically or a universal operating-temperature range. Roof condition and installation remain decisive.

Fit check

Know where it belongs.

Surface condition matters as much as surface type.

Common applications

A practical fit

  • RV roof seams and membrane edges
  • Vent and skylight perimeters
  • Camper and trailer window edges
  • Flat, curved and corner transitions
  • EPDM, TPO, rubber, metal, fiberglass, wood, plastic and glass*
Stop and repair first

Not a cover-up

  • Wet, oily, dirty or loose surfaces
  • Rotten or structurally damaged material
  • Pressurized plumbing or fuel systems
  • Surfaces whose maker prohibits adhesive tape

*Aged, coated or contaminated surfaces can behave differently. Test a small prepared area and follow the RV or membrane maker’s guidance.

Four-step installation

Preparation makes the seal.

Installation requires no torch or mixing. Apply only to a clean, dry and stable surface.

  1. 01InspectFind the full leak path and repair loose or damaged substrate.
  2. 02Clean & dryRemove dirt, oil, wax, moisture and loose old sealant.
  3. 03Cut & placeDry-fit the run, peel the liner and position without stretching.
  4. 04Press firmlyWork edge to edge with steady pressure, especially at transitions.

Standard or MAX

Choose Standard or MAX for the repair.

Both use a 50-foot roll. Standard offers the full width and color range; MAX is the thicker white 4-inch format.

Straight answers

Before you seal.

The questions that determine whether this tape fits the repair.

Which sizes and colors are available?
Standard comes in 1.5-, 2-, 4- and 6-inch widths, each in white or black. Every roll is 50 feet long. MAX is available only as White / 4 in × 50 ft.
What surfaces can MOGOFE bond to?
Common listed surface families include EPDM, TPO, rubber, metal, fiberglass, wood, plastic and glass. The surface must be clean, dry and stable. Test aged or coated material first.
How do I choose the tape width?
Measure the entire damaged area or seam. Choose a width that covers it and still reaches clean bonding surface on both sides.
Can it be used around curves and corners?
Yes. Plan the run before removing the liner, avoid stretching and press carefully along edges and changes in level.
Can I apply it to a wet roof?
No. Dry the area completely and remove dirt, oil, wax and loose material. Trapped moisture and contamination can prevent reliable adhesion.
Where do I buy, and who handles the order?
Current purchases are completed on Amazon.com. Amazon shows the live price, available offer, delivery estimate and return eligibility, then handles payment and the marketplace order. MOGOFE provides product guidance and a separate 12-month limited product warranty.
