Yellow Titan was developed and refined over seven years around one practical task: making RV roof sealing clearer and more repeatable. This page explains what MOGOFE documents, what the figures mean, and what they do not promise.
What was refined
- Butyl material and backing construction for peel-and-press field use.
- Coverage choices from 1.5 to 6 inches for seams, vents, edges and wider transitions.
- Surface-preparation guidance: inspect, clean, dry, dry-fit and press edge to edge.
- A clear boundary between non-structural sealing and substrate repair.
Current product family
| Format | Thickness | Widths | Colors | Length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 1.0 mm | 1.5, 2, 4, 6 in | White / black | 50 ft |
| MAX | 1.2 mm | 4 in | White | 50 ft |
Documented material test conditions
| Property | Condition or method | Recorded result |
|---|---|---|
| Heat condition | 212°F ± 3.6°F for 2 hours | No flow or surface cracking recorded |
| Low-temperature flexibility | −40°F for 72 hours | No surface cracking recorded |
| Elongation | ASTM D412-16 | 450% |
| Density | Documented material specification | 1.65 ± 0.05 g/cm³ |
How to read these figures: they describe samples under stated conditions and methods. They are not a universal service-temperature range, a lifetime guarantee or proof that every installed repair performs identically. Substrate integrity, contamination, weather, coverage and application pressure remain decisive.
Installation system
- Inspect: locate the complete leak path and repair loose, rotten or structurally damaged material first.
- Clean and dry: remove moisture, dirt, oil, wax, oxidation and loose old sealant.
- Dry-fit: plan the run and cut the tape before removing the liner. Avoid unnecessary stretching.
- Press: apply steady pressure across the full width, with extra attention at edges and transitions.
Use boundaries
Yellow Titan is intended for non-structural sealing on common RV and outdoor surfaces including listed EPDM, TPO, rubber, metal, fiberglass, wood, plastic and glass surface families. Aged coatings and contaminated or low-energy surfaces can behave differently. Test a small prepared area and follow the RV, membrane or substrate maker’s repair guidance.
Do not use the tape to cover rotten or structurally damaged material, on wet or unstable surfaces, or as a repair for pressurized plumbing or fuel systems.
Evidence policy
MOGOFE separates visible product facts, documented test conditions and real customer feedback. The site does not use a special “AI schema,” invented ratings or hidden claims. Structured data must match information that shoppers can see on the page.
